Welcome to the Artwork Forum! Here you are welcome to post your artwork for other members to rate and offer suggestions as well as feedback on the general artwork. This thread will provide you with the basics about what is acceptable and unacceptable behavior in this section.
The Rules
Plagiarism and stealing is unacceptable- Do not post someone else's work and claim it to be your own under any circumstances. Doing so will result and warnings and can result in a ban.
Art Bumping- You are allowed to bump your own thread if you are putting new art or an update. Otherwise do not bump a thread that is around a month old, you will be warned for doing so.
PG Rating- Keep your artworks appropriate for all ages, this section is not for inappropriate content. Any content found here will result in severe trouble for you.
Lowest Art Required- Each art thread requires to have at least three pieces of art within it, otherwise it can be considered as spam and locked.
Stuff that can be posted here-
-Pixel Art/Sprites
-Regions
-Drawings
-Paintings
-Photos
-Music
-Animations
What cannot be posted here-
-Shops and Request Threads (Belongs in the Shop section)
-Competitions/Contests (Belongs in the Contests section)
-Writing pieces/Fanfictions (Belongs in the Writing section)
How to post in an Artwork thread-
From time to time posts are deleted because they are considered to be SPAM (Stupid, pointless, annoying messages) even if they were very kind. Do not feel bad, this is simply cleaning up the section.
What to Avoid Posting
"That sprite looks amazing XD"
"Epic drawing!!"
Sure it's great to receive feedback like the two examples, but they would be considered spam. What about the artwork looks good, what makes you like them so much? Was there anything you think could have been better? Put actual thought into what you type and help the artist understand what you liked so they can make more of it.
Comments we would like to see-
"That sprite is amazing because the color pallete you used causes the sprite to look more realistic. Nice job. XD"
"That drawing is epic! I like the way you drew the tail. Though might I suggest to redo the feet as they are too big."
Notice there's a big difference between the different comments. More thought was put into these and actually helps the artist know what people like so much.
