Off-Topic Forum Rules
Off-Topic still has boundaries
The Off-Topic Forum houses all the threads which cannot be categorised in the existing sections of the forum. It does not mean post whatever you like. Please ensure to only post topics which are appropriate (this means stay clear from creating threads about how to obtain/access pornographic material, drugs, ROMs, warez, etc.).
Posts should contain more than just a YouTube video and/or an Image
Posts which only contain a YouTube video and/or an Image will be classified as SPAM for now, and thus will be deleted. Ensure to have text outside the spoiler to refrain from being infracted for posting SPAM.
Respect other members in the forum
You are welcome to disagree with another member's post, though just ensure to do so professionally, by staying clear of flaming and harassing others.
Threads require some form of structure
Avoid creating threads which allow members to "post anything" about a particular subject. A thread requires a specific topic. For example:
"In this thread talk about anything or as much as you know about The Legend of Zelda!!"
"This thread is dedicated to the series, The Legend of Zelda. What was your first Zelda game? Do you have a favourite Zelda game? Which Zelda game have you played most recently?" (etc)
The second example contains some form of structure. Whilst the first example does not contain any structure- and will generate more chit-chatty and off-topic posts.
Moderation
Do not Mini Mod, ie: "your spelling needs improvement", "this is in the wrong section", etc. Refrain from enforcing the rules if you are not a forum moderator. Instead please use the report button.
A moderator will close a thread if it becomes out of hand, or is deemed unnecessary (up to the discretion of the moderator).
Failing to follow these rules will lead to a warning and eventually a ban. The infraction received depends on the circumstance and moderator's discretion.
