Writing Brainstorm/Critique Thread

Within this thread you'll be able to type up a description about your story and get some return feedback from fellow members on things that are good about it, some things that you may want to alter, and just generally information on what you may be able to do to better the story that you're wanting to create.

If you want only specific feedback on your ideas then please make sure that you mention which parts you want help with, otherwise other members may simply give ideas for the entire thing which you may not have wanted.

The things that you may get feedback on can be:
-An entire story idea. Write up a description about what you're wanting to make a story about. Try to add in as much detail, perhaps background information to better understand it. Just flesh out the "world" the story is going to be in so that people can tell you if you need to change anything.

-A scene within a story. Say that you have something you're wanting to write in your story but you're not entirely sure how you want it to work. Write up a description of what happens within the scene, perhaps even how the scene is meant to effect the rest of the story. Then you can get member feedback on things that you can add in, or something to be wary about while writing the scene so you don't overdramatize it.

General Pokestadium rules would apply in this case, so please make sure that you follow all of them. 

If you're giving feedback to another member on the descriptions that they've given make sure that you're not insulting the member. We want to give constructive feedback by which the member can then better the story, therefore you need to make sure that what you're saying isn't simply tearing apart the member's ideas to make them feel bad. Actually help them out, give them more ideas or suggestions on what to do.

So go on and get all the help that you want for your writing, every writer needs feedback after all!
