In this thread you can discuss your ideas for a Fanclub.
Also, if you are interested in making a Fanclub please read the Fanclub Rules first!
When coming up with an idea for a Fanclub you need to take a few considerations first.
Firstly, you need to have a title of your Fanclub. Think of a title that is catchy and that correlates with the main idea of the club. The club topic should also be general, not too vague or too broad. For example, an art club is too broad since there are too many kinds of art to associate with. An purple pastel club is too specific since it only applies to purple pastels and nothing else. Something like Spriting is a specific kind of art, but it can also be split up into different kinds, making it mainly a general topic.
Secondly, you need to form a plausible layout for the Fanclub. This includes a banner with the title of your club, legitimate sections of the Fanclub, organization, order forms, a specific discussion topic(s), ranking system, and other features that would attract members. Make sure to have all of these and your Fanclub should have a decent layout. Try to come up with some Fanclub related artwork before submitting your Fanclub. Making a reward system of some kind also motivates members of your Fanclub to stay more active so that they may achieve Fanclub/Forum related rewards.
Thirdly, you will need to make Fanclub specific rules. Refer to the main Fanclub rules and the general forum rules for support. Some fanclubs require monthly activity while others don't. It is all up to you. Remember that if a member of your club breaks a Fanclub specific rule, just report it and let a moderator/admin take care of it.
Finally, you'll need serious dedication. When running a Fanclub, you will have to be editing the OP various times for the benefit of your members. You will also need to come up with new ideas to attract new members and entertain existing members so that they will participate since a Fanclub is nothing without its members. Be sure to keep your Fanclub in a friendly environment and reward those who contribute to your club.
So, are you thinking of starting a Fanclub of your own? Start brainstorming here in this thread then! The possibilities are endless. ^^
You'll be surprised how many people here may have similar interests as you do.
