Battling Forum Rules
Welcome to Eeveelution Resort's Battling Forum! Here you are able to request advice from members about your teams, whether they are competitive or in-game; create tournaments, leagues and clans; as well as discuss anything battling. So that this forum is fair and enjoyable to the majority of members, there are rules in place. Any questions should be be asked here on this thread.
Posting a competitive team
- Introductions need to contain the tier, type of battle and any other conditions
Your experience with the team too, if applicable.
- Teams need to include six Pokemon, along with their natures, ability, EVs, items and four moves
If you require help for a specific section, then that is fine. Just ensure your team is mostly complete, otherwise it may be closed.

- Descriptions are compulsory
So raters understand your reasons as to why you chose the Pokemon as well as its moves. Without any information about your team, raters may have difficulty understanding your team's purpose and synergy.
- Accept criticism
The reason for posting a team is to receive feedback and looking for ways to improve; not to show off.
Rating a competitive team
- Respect the OP's choices
This means avoiding comments which state a team is too unoriginal, or uses too many standard sets, etc.
- If you identify a problem, you are responsible for posting a solution
- Mini Modding is not allowed
If a thread doesn't meet the rules, report the thread/post or PM a moderator.
Posting an in-game team
- Minimum of three Pokemon posted, along with the ability, nature and four moves must be listed.
EVs and Descriptions are not compulsory.
- Rate teams, not other people's rates
Of course you are welcome to comment on another member's rating, though keep in mind we are rating the team.

If the poster has stated that they have used their favourite Pokemon, do not in any way attempt to influence them to change to a Pokemon considered ‘better’ for the role. A polite suggestion is welcome instead.

Posting battle logs
- Post them in the Battle Replay/Log Thread
- Add more than just the log to your post
Post your own comments on the battle, and be open to others posting too.
- Although not required, it may also be helpful to post a video of the battle
If using Pokemon Showdown, upload your video here and post the link. It is easier to watch a battle, than read a wall of text.
Posting tournaments, leagues, clans and other events
- They need to be approved by a moderator
Send a draft via PM to a moderator so they can approve it. Make sure you mention who approved it when you post.
