Who am I?
Hello there, it's nice for you to come and see my personal staff introduction thread, may I give you a courteous welcome and a nice to meet you!
My Interests
Pokemon
Digimon
Games
Anime/Manga
Art
You may be wondering who I am, since I happen to be the admin of this here forum. Well, that's actually quite simple. I'm a 20 year old college student living in the United States in my technically Senior year for a Computer Graphics major. The reason I'm technically a Senior is because I spent my first year in the Computer Science major before realizing it was not what I wanted and I thereby transferred into the Computer Graphics major. So I'm therefore a Senior within my college but a Junior within my new major.
You may refer to me as whatever gender you prefer. I was born biologically female however I identify with neither gender and am perfectly fine with being called almost any nickname by members and gender pronouns, so just use whatever you prefer for myself. If I feel more male to you just say "he", if I'm more female use "she". If it depends for you feel free to switch between them even! It's always so fun to see people trying to figure out which gender I am and usually they mistake me for male, I never really care to go out of my way to tell them the truth though. So I feel fine with being mistaken, don't worry!
I come from a family where up until around I was three years old my parents were together. Then they divorced and my father moved to Arkansas while my mother and I stayed in Indiana. After that I would spend my summers in Arkansas with my dad, usually ending up quite sick from the change. Later in life I don't get sick often, probably because of this. I've spent three years of my life in Las Vegas, Nevada, and three years in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Even gone a few times out of the USA when I was a lot younger, so I don't remember those times. In 2001 my mother and I moved back to Indiana to live in the house by my grandmother, the reason being that my mother had cancer. She has since fought the cancer (Leukemia) and is a healthy individual that I speak with every so often when I'm not distracted by college and other things.
For nearly 8 years I have a step-father who is very sweet and kind, always wanting to help my mother and I and working himself to exhaustion for everything that he does. I also have a step-mother from my father's side and a younger bratty step-sister. Thankfully I have only visited them twice now after my father stopped "being able" to pay for me to come stay with them once per year so I do not have to put up with her spoiled tantrums and screaming. (Which is silly, since she's only 10. She should not think she has the right to throw fits to get what she wants!)
I tend to clown around a lot in my life, viewing the world as something that you should enjoy. In the USA culture it's considered appropriate for someone to be ambitious, to always want to accomplish something and work towards getting a good job. I'm considered "backwards" then because I simply want to enjoy myself and have a good time, playing video games, reading, spriting or doing artwork as I please. I'm not very interested in getting a job and so therefore am not looking forward to when I graduate and have to search for one.
TidalMewMew is my best friend in real life, we have been friends for longer than I can even remember. Some time back in 8th grade. You'll therefore see us as being very close and we talk almost every single day in IMs with each other, so we also have quite a good idea on who each other is and what we think about various things. So if you see us being silly and making jokes, it's just normal between us! If you're feeling left out though simply tell us and we'll know to include you so you're not so alone.

My Interests
Pokemon
As you can see from the forum itself, I have to be pretty interested in Pokemon to work with my best friend to create a forum that's mainly about Pokemon. You'd be absolutely correct on that as well.
I've been heavily interested in Pokemon ever since I was younger and Crystal came out. I didn't have any of the Pokemon games although I had a Gameboy Color (The Pikachu/Pichu silver one). When I was visiting with my father one of the step-siblings I had back then (Before he divorced their mother) I would play the Crystal game that he had. Eventually when it came time for me to go home I found out that I accidentally still had the game in my game case and was never properly able to return it.
I can't say I was all that upset about it because it meant that I could play an amazing game! After that I managed to get my hands on two versions of Red and Blue, although to date I have yet to get a Pokemon Yellow. I still have all of those originals and my collection also includes Gold, Silver, Crystal, Firered, Ruby, Emerald, SoulSilver, Diamond, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. I would say that I have Sapphire version, however it was stolen from me when I was at my father's several years ago.
I have played several of the spin-off games and enjoyed them. I was never able to complete any of the Rangers series except for Ranger Signs. I have completed Rescuers Blue, although I no longer own it. I still own Explorers Sky and am still level grinding after having beaten all the story parts. I have finished Colloseum but do not have the game (Was playing at a friend's) and am looking forward to owning it one day. I do however own XD and enjoy resetting it sometimes to just play through again. Lastly I own Pokemon Conquest and am still trying to work through all of the different stories that it has.
I will shortly own Pokemon Y to at least have a game in all of the generations, so I'll be able to join in everyone's excited chatter about those games once I get my hands on it.
Lastly I'll just go over my favorite Pokemon. Which happens to be Dragonair!
Since I started in the Pokemon fandom Dragonair was always my favorite, so sleek and beautiful. Being a dragon certainly didn't hurt, I love dragons as well.

Digimon
Why yes, I actually am interested in Digimon! Does it seem strange that someone who is so heavily interested in Pokemon likes Digimon as well? Haha, well it's very true!
I am a large fan of the original Digimon season and am still working through rewatching all of it on Hulu. I'll probably also watch a lot of the second season, which I never was able to finish. I saw much of the third season and the fourth as well, although I've been losing track of the series after that simply because I haven't been able to get any channels with the episodes on them.
I definitely enjoy the Digimon games as well. To me Pokemon had all the best games and Digimon had the best show, I still believe that to this day. However I can't deny that Digimon has some great games as well. I enjoyed the Digimon World games for the PS-PS3. I'm also enjoying the Digimon World games on the DS, such as Digimon Story, Digimon World Dawn/Dusk, and am hoping translation games come out for the other games in that series.
If I had to pick one Digimon that I adored above all others... well I'd probably have to pick Gryphonmon. I can still remember back in Vegas when I was so very young a friend and I would constantly play Digimon, doing mock battles against each other all the time. I would always want to be Gryphonmon because it looked so amazing and intelligent. A Digimon to be feared and respected indeed, and who would always fight for the right cause!
It didn't hurt that I happened to have a Gryphonmon card that I carried around with me and adored like a special treasure...

Games
What games am I interested in? Well that's kind of a hard topic to answer, really. I have a broad enjoyment of games. However I can list off the games that I do enjoy. You'd probably have to ask what I enjoy specifically about each game that I list off though, it'd take too much time for making this thread otherwise!

Art
I rather enjoy doing artwork, although I can't say I'm all that great at drawing or painting currently. I am quite into spriting however, so you'll see me at my shop or in my spriting fanclub as well as simply going around helping others with their spriting artworks. I do happen to have a deviantART if you're interested in checking that out and I will also perhaps be putting up a thread about my artwork and what I've been working on.
I prefer to use Photoshop and Illustrator for mostly all of my drawing/painting needs. I use Paint for any spriting that I do, except for when I'm drawing a sketch to size down. Then I draw using my tablet in Photoshop before taking that into Paint.
Some of the art that I've recently done so you get a general idea of what I do-

Writing
I believe that's probably enough for right now, maybe after some time I'll have a bit more to add. As for currently though I probably went way over anyone's interest by now.
If you're interested in asking me a question, either about myself or the forums, just ask away here and I'll answer you to the best of my abilities. Just know that I may get a bit long-winded since when it's questions where someone is actually interested in me I can get very focused on answering as much as I can.
I am also of course a bit of a writer, although I don't have many stories to my name currently. I do have a few of them up here as well as some other ones up on my Wattpad account. You'll probably find any stories that I do up on the writing section here, or over on my Wattpad if you're actually interested in that. A few of them that I can link to currently are:
Cold Warfare [Short Story Prompt]
Limelight [Short Story Prompt]
Warvane [Flash Fiction Prompt]
Winter's Ashes [Phoenix Wright Fanfiction]
I might periodically ask for a writing prompt simply to give me an idea of something to do, sometimes I can get very lazy and not end up finishing a story that I was working on. Mostly because I get ahead of myself and already have the story done in my head and it's too much effort to translate it onto the page.
